Librarian Heather Perry of Little Elm Public Library in Little Elm, Texas and Rachel G., age 11 and Brittany S., age 10 have won the Mirrorstone Dragon Codex Song Contest. Their winning entry of the Green Dragon Codex lyric has now been recorded as part of the Dragon Codex Song. Listen to it at: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4dnd/greendragon
The Dragon Codex Song features Mirrorstone's New York Times bestseller, A Practical Guide to Dragons plus dragon stories from the Green Dragon Codex book and other titles from Mirrorstone~s Dragon Codex series.
Each Dragon Codex novel takes one type of dragon and weaves a spellbinding story around it, alternating between good (metallic) and evil (chromatic) dragons. Fantasy fans, ages 8-12, will love these suspenseful, action-packed tales of dragons and the young mortals who dare to confront them. Silver Dragon Codex is the newest book in the series. If kids at your library would like to try writing their own dragon verse for fun, email info@raabassociates.com to request a lyric-writing tip sheet.
Congratulations to Little Elm's Library Director, Tina Hager, Heather Perry, Rachel and Brittany for a great effort!
